Cheese is operated by three generations of the Hemsworth family,
we are an independent, Canadian company with decades of experience in
the cheese business. Our family has been in the cheese business since
1960, involved in the grading and selection of cheese from around the
world.
Our reputation depends on the highest standards of quality,
competitive prices, and a commitment to prompt, friendly service.
As can be seen on our website, we supply a complete line of
famous Canadian cheese, as well as a wide range of quality
imports from around the world, in sizes varying from 20 grams
to 35 kilograms. We are continuously expanding our product

Springbank Cheese is a registered cheese plant
with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (Registration Number 1598).The
company is also licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. These
government agencies perform regular plant and product inspections to
ensure compliance to the strict regulations associated with dairy products
and the company consistently scores above average on these inspections.
The company name and logo takes its name from Springbank
Snow Countess, Woodstock’s celebrated Holstein cow who
was a “world champion producer.” A statue stands
in her honor on the place where her home, Springbank Farm
was once located.
