Springbank Cheese is a registered cheese plant with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (Registration Number 1598).The company is also licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. These government agencies perform regular plant and product inspections to ensure compliance to the strict regulations associated with dairy products and the company consistently scores above average on these inspections.

The company name and logo takes its name from Springbank Snow Countess, Woodstock’s celebrated Holstein cow who was a “world champion producer.” A statue stands in her honor on the place where her home, Springbank Farm was once located.
